Sara Schonhardt is a Jakarta-based reporter for The Wall Street Journal, covering everything from the economic impact of new government policies to forestry to rights for migrant workers. She also works as an editor for the WSJ’s Indonesia Real Time blog, providing daily updates on the latest buzz in Southeast Asia’s largest economy. Sara has worked as a reporter in Thailand and Cambodia and previously contributed to the International Herald Tribune, Christian Science Monitor and Voice of America. She grew up in Columbus, Ohio, and has a master’s degree in international affairs from Columbia University.
