Michel Crochon

Executive Vice-President, Global Strategy & Technology

Michel Crochon started his career within Merlin Gerin in 1975. He held various positions within the Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) Division, in France and then worldwide, followed by operational management roles in manufacturing and marketing.

In 1991, he joined the France Management Committee and served as Strategy & IT Director. He consolidated his international experience in China, from 1996 to 1999, as Strategy & Marketing Vice-President.

In 2000, he was relocated in France and was appointed Senior Vice-President in charge of the Industry Market within the Strategy Division.

Since 2004, he is a member of the Executive Committee of Schneider Electric.

As Executive Vice-President, he served, in 2004, as head of Customer & Market Division, before assuming the responsibility of Automation Business Unit in 2006, and in 2008, the Industry Business.

In June 2010, Michel was appointed Executive Vice-President of the Energy Business and in 2012, he led the Infrastructure Business as EVP, world leader in Medium Voltage and Automation.

Early 2013, he moved to Hong Kong to take the role of EVP in charge of Global Strategy. Since January 1st, 2014, Michel Crochon has been leading Global Strategy & Technology for Schneider Electric.
