Marion Waller

Lead Advisor

Reinventing Paris

Marion works as an advisor to the Deputy Mayor of Paris in charge of urban planning, architecture, attractiveness and the Greater Paris projects. She also advises the Deputy Mayor on the recently launched "Reinventing Paris" initiative. Previously, Marion studied Urban planning at Sciences Po Paris and Contemporary Philosophy at the Ecole Normale Supérieure. She has several experiences in political and non-profit organizations in France and in the Philippines. She has worked and published about urban transformations in South-East Asia, Lebanon and South Africa.

“Reinventing Paris” is an international call for innovative urban projects on 23 Parisian sites. This open competition aims at transforming the ways of building and living in Paris by bringing the best architects, startups, researchers and innovators into original teams. The 23 winning teams will be allowed to develop their projects on those sites currently owned by the City of Paris.
