Gianluca is Director of Zaha Hadid Architects, one of the world’s leading practices in architecture and urban design. He holds a wide-ranging role in the strategic and operational management of the firm. He joined ZHA in 2000 and has since lead a wide range of cultural, infrastructural, residential and commercial projects in Europe, Middle East, Asia and Australia. Amongst them the MAXXI, the national Centre of Contemporary Arts in Rome, recipient of the prestigious RIBA Sterling Prize. Gianluca studied architecture at the ETSAB in Barcelona, Columbia University in New York, and the University ‘La Sapienza’ of Rome where he received his professional degree cum laude. He continued his studies and received his Master’s from the Architectural Association in London and his MBA from Imperial College Business School.
