Parallel Panel: Unlocking the Grid: Solutions for Urban Mobility

Traffic is a universal urban challenge. Cities with unprecedented urban growth and a rising middle class struggle with the consequences of paralyzing congestion. In many large cities, the problem has reached dramatic proportion: the average speed of a car in Jakarta today is 5 kilometers per hour. How and why will we move around in the city of tomorrow? What innovations are reshaping urban mobility? How can we make gridlock a thing of the past and not a permanent feature of our urban future?

This session will take place in Breakout Room B.
